Biography
Cristiano Torres was born in 1975 in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. In 1993, he completed his professional high school education in Electronics at COLTEC/UFMG. From 1994 to 2012, he earned a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Geography, both from Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (UFMG). Additionally, he completed a Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering at Centro Universitário de Belo Horizonte (UNIBH), an MBA in Modern Telecommunications Systems from Universidade Federal Fluminense (UFF), and a Master’s in Electrical Engineering at UFMG. In 2018, he obtained his Ph.D. from Universidade Federal de Rondônia (UNIR). Currently, he teaches at colleges in the Amazon region of Brazil and works for the Brazilian Department of Defense (http://www.sipam.gov.br).
